 Harris Acoustics, Ltd. has been serving West Texas since 1960. Burl Harris started the construction business with four employees on Woodard Street. Harris Acoustics built the building at 5447 South First Street, and moved the construction operation to that location in 1965. The Company stayed at that location for thirty-seven years until April 2001, when Harris built a new building and relocated to 4266 South Treadaway. The Company continues to expand at that location.
Harris Acoustics’ commitment to quality and their ability to get the job done in a timely manner has earned the company the respect of General Contractors, other Subcontractors and Owners. The Company’s fair and honest treatment of their suppliers, employees, and customers has generated numerous repeat customers and long-standing customer, supplier and employee relationships. Customers know they can rely on the team at Harris Acoustics to get the job done right and on time. In the forty-seven years Harris Acoustics has been in business we have never failed to complete a job.
Harris Acoustics has always been very active in the community, and the Company has been very involved in numerous charitable endeavors. In addition to sponsorships, the Company has donated time and materials to charitable and religious organizations that have had specific needs with which the Company could assist.
Over the past forty-eight years, the Company continued to expand and grow under the leadership of Burl Harris. After the death of Burl Harris in January, 2007 the Company still continues to grow and expand under the leadership of Charles Alvarez. |
