Burl Harris started Harris Acoustics with four employees in 1960. The growing business moved to 5447 S. 1st St., a building the company constructed, in 1965. After flourishing in that space for 37 years, we moved to our current location at 4266 S. Treadaway in April 2001. Recently, we expanded to San Angelo, TX, building an office and warehouse there to facilitate our growing number of local projects.

Abilene Contractors since 1960
After Burl’s passing in 2007, his three daughters, Pam Harris, Amanda Fudge, and Kim Harris continued his business legacy at Harris Acoustics. Pam, Amanda, and Kim assembled a strong management team, and Harris Acoustics continues to flourish today.
In 2018 we also lost Pam Harris, and her sisters honor the legacy of their father and sister by continuing to make Harris Acoustics a successful construction company, devoted to quality work and integrity. For these many decades, Harris Acoustics has continued to expand and grow under dedicated leadership.
Active in the community of Abilene, Harris Acoustics has been involved in numerous charitable endeavors. Our company has donated money, time, and materials to both charitable and religious organizations throughout the area.
We look forward to continuing our work with the cities of Abilene, San Angelo, and other neighboring towns to create positive change in civic landscapes and partner with businesses doing good in their communities.
